Anforderungen
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Aerospace Engineering, or related fields or equivalent work experience
- Strong proficiency in Python and scientific stack (NumPy, SciPy, Pandas)
- Experience building or using simulation tools for dynamic systems
- Proven experience in aerospace industry, ideally with flight software and hardware exposure
- Comfortable working in Ubuntu/Linux environments and using command line
- Proficient with Git, experienced with GitLab and CI pipelines
- Experience with Basilisk or similar simulation frameworks
- Experience integrating simulations into SIL/HIL setups or automated test environments
- Familiarity with Docker
- Experience with InfluxDB and Grafana
Aufgaben
- Join the SIV team to develop software infrastructure
- Simulate and emulate satellites and environments
- Work with FSW, AOCS, AIT, and other engineering teams
- Understand mission and system-level needs
- Derive requirements for simulation environment
- Design and implement basic interface simulators
- Conduct simple aliveness and integration tests
- Develop full functional simulators for key subsystems
- Support end-to-end testing
- Evaluate and integrate realistic environment simulations
- Build infrastructure for SIL and HIL setups
- Integrate simulations with CI pipelines
- Ensure simulations are reliable and reproducible
- Make simulations easy for other teams to use
