Software Engineer(m/w/x)
Developing and testing high voltage x-ray generator controls for medical imaging and NDT. German language skills and C/C++ experience essential. Work in a highly regulated medical device environment.
Anforderungen
- BA in Electrical Engineering or higher education with concentration in software design, plus electronics
- German language skills required, good English skills in speaking and writing
- Excellent communication, presentation, and documentation skills
- Hands-on experience and knowledge in C and C++
- Hands-on experience and knowledge in Visual C++ and Visual Studio
- Understanding of basic Microsoft Windows user interface design
- Basic understanding of electronic circuits
- Familiarity with schematics
- Experience with microcontroller languages
- Experience with medical device directive is a plus
- Experience with medical devices is a plus
- Independence and self-motivation, strong analytical skills, and creative thinking
- Ability to collaborate in a team environment
Aufgaben
- Design, modify, and evaluate firm and software for high voltage x-ray generators
- Troubleshoot and fix existing firm and software solutions for new market requirements
- Perform specific tests on x-ray generators and equipment
- Prepare and maintain technical documentation for medical device regulatory requirements
- Create documentation for software release to production in English and German
- Support the manufacturing department on newly released software
- Conduct training on software changes and improvements
- Interface with customers to understand their requirements and problems
- Develop system architectures and solutions based on customer needs
- Communicate with and support analogue engineers, project leaders, project managers, and test groups
- Interpret, document, and update specifications based on coordinated development with customers
- Create programming and testing procedures for internal and customer use
- Perform change support and version control of firmware and software
- Conduct design verification testing and documentation
- Support research and development of new products and technologies
