Anforderungen

  • Degree in Robotics, CS, Electrical/Mechanical Engineering
  • C++ (CMake) and/or Python programming proficiency
  • Proactive, hands-on mentality
  • ROS2 experience and robotic perception understanding
  • Self-coordinated, structured, proactive communication
  • Fluent English (written and spoken)
  • Configuring/processing sensor data (depth cameras, LiDAR, etc.)
  • Familiarity with Git and Docker
  • Hardware communication protocols experience
  • Hardware prototyping experience (3D printing, electronics, wiring)
  • Familiarity with advanced perception pipelines/algorithms
  • EU applicants for internships
  • Voluntary internship possible
  • Residence permit required
  • Must be enrolled in a University
  • Mandatory internship (university letter)
  • Work permit required
  • Must reside in CH

Aufgaben

  • Evaluate state-of-the-art sensors
  • Benchmark vision, 3D/LiDAR, and acoustic technologies
  • Test sensor performance
  • Develop robust sensor drivers
  • Integrate drivers in ROS2
  • Deploy software on robotic platforms
  • Test hardware integrations
  • Validate software and hardware configurations
  • Analyze sensing stack
  • Troubleshoot data quality issues
  • Improve pipeline efficiency
  • Collaborate with perception engineers
  • Assist with technical tasks
  • Contribute to daily problem-solving
