- Extensive experience in Financial Lines underwriting
- Minimum bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance or Law
- Strong interest in negotiating and analyzing risks
- Positive, determined approach to researching and analyzing new business opportunities

- Strong written and verbal English skills
- Eastern European language skills (plus)
- Openness to travel
- Building strong internal and external relationships
- Completed degree in Law or Business Administration (international degrees advantageous)
- Many years of professional experience in Financial Lines (underwriting and product development) in Eastern Europe
- Existing network of relationships (clients and brokers) in Eastern Europe
- Creativity and innovation in developing insurance solutions in a dynamic risk environment
- Affinity for insurance conditions and related marketing activities
- Teamwork skills and quick comprehension
- Decisiveness
- High resilience, especially under stress and time pressure
- High assertiveness
- Fluent English skills
- Additional Eastern European language skills (advantageous)
Aufgaben
- Drive growth in Eastern European countries
- Build Financial Lines portfolio from the ground up
- Design and implement a growth strategy
- Set up underwriting processes
- Underwrite risks in all Financial Lines product areas (excluding M&A)
- Build relationships with brokers and clients
- Adapt Financial Lines products to local conditions
- Present AIG as a flexible solution provider
- Manage and develop the portfolio for long-term sustainability
- Collaborate with the actuarial team
- Work with European underwriting managers
- Support the Head of FL Europe in long-term strategy
