In this role, you will focus on underwriting significant accounts while expanding the Renewables portfolio. You will negotiate terms with brokers, ensure contract certainty, and contribute to strategic initiatives, all while fostering relationships with key stakeholders.

Anforderungen

• •Degree in Economics, Engineering, or appropriate discipline
• •Completion of professional insurance qualification (e.g. CII)
• •Significant experience in underwriting profitable business in Natural Resources or Engineering market
• •Recognized relationships with brokers at peer group level
• •Specialized understanding of regional/local LoB insurance markets
• •Good understanding of legal and regulatory framework
• •Ability to assess risk inherent exposures and natural hazards
• •Design, develop and implement consistent, robust wordings
• •Ability to analyze highly complex data from multiple sources
• •Ability to persuade and motivate others to act
• •Fluent in German and English
• •Experience in applying AI and ML to improve business processes

Aufgaben

• •Underwrite large new and renewal accounts
• •Grow the Renewables portfolio, including on- and offshore technologies
• •Negotiate pricing and terms with brokers
• •Manage capacity proactively
• •Underwrite according to governance framework and guidelines
• •Ensure contract certainty at inception for all accounts
• •Contribute to regional Underwriting strategy development and execution
• •Train and coach less experienced staff, including Underwriters
• •Represent Allianz Commercial positively to key brokers and distribution channels
• •Drive involvement of functional areas in the Underwriting process
• •Develop and maintain strong relationships with key brokers, clients, and stakeholders
