- Develop minimum risk maneuvers
- Plan and execute vehicle-level testing
- Validate system performance and safety responses
- Develop monitoring frameworks and dashboards
- Track system health and detect faults
- Minimize system downtime
- Own the functional safety concept
- Derive safety goals
- Build Functional and Technical Safety Concepts (ISO 26262)
- Maintain the safety case
- Ensure audit and compliance readiness
- Lead safety analysis activities (HARA, FMEA, FTA)
- Ensure traceability from hazard identification to verification
