- Engineering or computer science degree, or technical education with experience
- 5+ years of software engineering experience in embedded field
- Experience coordinating software tasks and assisting project planning (desirable)
- Experience in regulated environment, preferably medical devices
- Profound knowledge in Ansi C, C++
- Experience with RS232, RS485, CAN interfaces
- Experience with RTOS, Yocto and QT
- Experience with git, make, gcc (plus)

- Coordinate software tasks in a cross-functional environment

- Provide solutions in a cost- and time-efficient manner
- Collaborate strongly with stakeholders and cross-functional departments
- Develop, implement, and verify architecture, concepts, and solutions
- Coordinate and cooperate with third-party suppliers and contractors
- Support project management in planning software tasks
- Collect and determine technical requirements
- Support troubleshooting of software issues in production
- Sustain existing products and systems for stable operations
- Adhere to project goals, national, and international standards and regulations
- Create documentation according to regulatory requirements for medical devices
- Generate requirements, specifications, risk analyses, and verification documents
