- Strong engineering foundation

- Deep expertise in industrial vision, camera integration, camera development, or cloud-native hardware platforms
- Integrated industrial cameras into production systems
- Understanding of industrial camera usage in automation
- Worked for camera manufacturer or built camera software/SDKs/device interfaces
- Experience building Kubernetes systems for hardware management
- Several years of backend systems experience (Python, Go)
- API design and versioning
- Comfortable developing containerized software
- Familiar with Kubernetes-based deployments
- Ability to take ownership of architecture
- Ability to make technical decisions
- Ability to drive projects from concept to production
- Strong experience extending Kubernetes with Custom Resources/Operators/Controllers
- Experience with Kubernetes networking for hardware/network-attached devices
- Experience integrating vendor SDKs behind common abstraction layer
- Experience with Linux device management
- Experience exposing hardware into containers
- Experience with industrial cameras, media pipelines, or camera protocols
- Understanding of computer vision concepts (calibration, depth imaging, point clouds)
- Experience with video streaming and media handling
- Background in robotics or industrial automation

- Design and implement a scalable camera integration framework
- Define the architecture for camera integration
- Build production-ready camera drivers
- Create the SDK and interfaces for camera integration
- Shape how vision devices become part of the Wandelbots ecosystem
- Collaborate with infrastructure and robotics engineers

- Collaborate with hardware partners
- Define the SDK for camera manufacturers and partners
- Define the developer experience for camera manufacturers and partners
- Define the developer experience for internal teams
