In this role, you will design and implement advanced features for automation frameworks while ensuring the reliability and scalability of software systems. By collaborating with product managers and scientists, you will translate user needs into technical specifications, driving innovation in lab automation.

Anforderungen

• •B.S. in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
• •4+ years of professional experience in backend or data engineering roles
• •Deep, hands-on technical contributions and expert technical knowledge of distributed systems, data engineering, software architecture, and system design
• •Expert-level proficiency in Python and Java
• •Expert level technical background in cloud-native architectures, ideally AWS
• •Excellent communication skills and ability to build trusted partnerships
• •Experience in Pharma or Biotech, ideally with experience working with scientists
• •Direct experience with automation control systems and laboratory automation systems
• •Front end development experience with Typescript/Javascript using modern frameworks

Aufgaben

• •Lead design and implementation of complex features for cross-vendor software frameworks
• •Take ownership of key components within the core automation framework
• •Contribute to technical architecture and roadmaps for scalable software systems
• •Design, develop, and test cloud-native software systems for lab automation
• •Partner with product managers and scientists to understand user needs
• •Translate user needs into actionable technical specifications
• •Provide technical guidance and conduct design reviews for engineering excellence
• •Advocate for best practices in distributed systems and cloud-native architecture
• •Contribute across the stack as needed, beyond core expertise
