Anforderungen
- PhD in Computational Biology, Biophysics, Bioinformatics, (Bio-)Chemical Engineering, Structural Biology, or related discipline
- Knowledge of biologics discovery and translation of scientific literature into industrial practice
- Deep expertise in protein/peptide structure modeling, antibody design, molecular dynamics, free-energy and physics-based scoring, and ML-enabled design approaches
- Experience with modern AI tools for co-folding, structure prediction, and de novo binder generation
- Experience working with and interpreting large experimental datasets (binding, functional assays, biophysical characterization, developability screens)
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Effective independent and collaborative work in cross-functional environments
- Enjoyment of working in self-organized teams and taking ownership/accountability
- Experience with large-scale computing environments (HPC/Cloud), container technologies, and workflow orchestration (plus)
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Strong intercultural competence
- Collaborative mindset
- Fluency in English, written and spoken

- Initiate and drive drug discovery projects
- Support interdisciplinary, cross-functional teams
- Apply structural and biological insights to connect targets with therapeutics
- Define tailored lead-finding strategies
- Characterize protein-protein and protein-ligand interactions
- Identify druggable pockets and epitopes
- Design and optimize antibodies using computational and AI methods
- Collaborate with antibody engineering and machine learning partners
- Build and apply modeling pipelines for various assessments
- Evaluate aggregation and solubility risks
- Assess PTM liability
- Generate and prioritize design hypotheses
- Integrate structural, sequence, biophysical, and assay data
- Develop automated workflows for candidate generation
- Score and select candidates
- Integrate data across programs
- Communicate results through concise reports and visualizations
- Present findings to diverse audiences
- Work closely with wet-lab and IT/HPC stakeholders
