Anforderungen
- Degree in food technology, ecotrophology, nutritional sciences, or comparable qualification
- Solid professional experience in product development in food, functional food, or dietary supplements
- In-depth knowledge of current food and fitness trends
- Knowledge of food law (LMIV, health claims, novel foods, etc.) desirable
- Analytical thinking, organizational skills, and structured approach to work
- Creativity, innovative spirit, and strong affinity for healthy eating and sports
- Confident use of MS Office; knowledge of SAP is an advantage
- Strong communication skills, negotiating skills, and team spirit
- Business fluent English; German skills are a plus
Aufgaben
- Develop innovative products in sports nutrition and dietary supplements
- Conceive new product ideas and expand product ranges independently
- Conduct and evaluate tastings for product optimization
- Continuously enhance the existing product range
- Perform market research and trend analysis to identify new developments
- Organize projects and implement individual project steps independently
- Search for and maintain long-term supplier relationships
- Negotiate strategically during annual meetings and promotions
- Establish risk-minimizing supply chains
- Participate in trade fairs, events, and supplier meetings as needed
- Review product compositions for food law compliance
- Determine back label texts, claims, and advertising statements
- Consult on product development and manage complaints
- Maintain product master data in collaboration with other departments
- Support quality-related tasks, including analyses and incoming goods inspection
- Create and maintain quality-related documents such as specifications and certificates
