- Success leading and executing industrial‑scale continuous improvement initiatives
- Knowledge of pumps, heat exchangers, valves, instrumentation, and piping integration
- Understanding of fluid dynamics, thermodynamics, and batch process control
- Expertise in fermentation, separation, and stabilization technologies
- Commitment to food safety regulations and standards like FSSC22000, 21 CFR part 111, and EHEDG
- Working knowledge of industrial microbiology and biotechnology
- Willingness to travel within the EMEA region
- Ability to challenge status quo and identify improvement opportunities
- Analytical mindset with organizational and execution capabilities
- Ability to engage stakeholders and translate needs into technical solutions

- Optimize production processes and flows
- Identify and promote optimization opportunities
- Execute process efficiency improvements
- Deliver plant layouts and utility requirements
- Commission new or modified process lines
- Implement best process and equipment practices
- Collaborate with capital project and maintenance teams
- Maintain global process design standards
- Troubleshoot complex process technology issues
- Translate operational needs into project scopes
- Perform mass and energy balances
- Select fit-for-purpose process equipment
- Develop PFDs, P&IDs, and equipment specifications
- Define process control and automation needs
- Execute FAT, SAT, and qualification activities
- Support Process Safety Management workflows
