- Degree in telecommunication, electrical engineering or computer science
- 5 years of experience in telecoms and 2 years with MPLS networks
- Networking knowledge
- Knowledge of L2VPN, L3VPN, MPLS, SRv6, EVPN and VPNv4/6
- Experience with Segment Routing TE (MPLS and SRv6)
- Knowledge of routing protocols IS-IS and BGP
- Experience with Network Simulation tools like containerlab
- Experience with packet analysis tools
- Desirable certifications: CCNA, CCNP, CCIE, MEF-CECP
- Fluency in English language
- Experience from Carrier Service providers
- Experience with Satcom operators or Satcom suppliers
- Knowledge of network termination equipment
- Design of management networks
- Network operations experience
- Process/Workflow definition
Aufgaben
- Design system-level network architectures for MEF-based services
- Adapt Multilayer-MPLS to space-based network dynamics
- Conduct network simulations and prototyping
- Document technical requirements and interfaces
- Collaborate with engineering teams across system domains
- Support the selection of network technology suppliers
- Provide technical steering for development activities
- Support system verification and testing
- Assist with network deployment and activation
- Support ongoing network operations
- Develop detailed operations scenarios
- Analyze and report on service performance
- Manage service assurance reporting
- Provide expert troubleshooting support
