- 5+ years backend software engineering experience
- Deep computer science fundamentals
- Experience building distributed systems
- Full software development lifecycle exposure
- Commitment to code quality and testing
- Experience with Lua or willingness to learn
- Online advertising/ad tech experience is a plus
- Systems-level language proficiency is a plus
- MongoDB and real-time data processing experience is a plus
- Cloud infrastructure (AWS) experience is a plus
- AI-assisted development tools experience is a plus
- OpenRTB protocol and ad exchange integrations experience is a plus
Aufgaben
- Design and develop business logic for programmatic advertising
- Optimize ad selection, targeting, frequency capping, and budget pacing
- Build and maintain real-time services processing 200K+ requests per second
- Ensure strict latency requirements
- Collaborate with Product to deliver advertiser and publisher features
- Maintain code quality through code reviews and automated testing
- Participate in continuous integration processes
- Contribute to architecture discussions
- Influence the technical roadmap
- Support production systems during on-call rotation
