- Solid understanding of financial statements, profitability drivers, and cost structures in banking or regulated environments
- Structured, detail-oriented thinker with high stakeholder-management maturity
- Ability to challenge assumptions while balancing commercial needs with regulatory boundaries
- Professional fluency in English
- German language skills are a great bonus but not mandatory
- Willingness to apply even if not meeting every single item

- Drive annual budget and multi-year business plan cycles
- Align functions and challenge assumptions constructively
- Elevate quality of monthly performance packs and executive reporting
- Translate complex data into strategic insights for leadership
- Build and maintain integrated financial models
- Perform scenario analyses against regulatory constraints
- Analyze contribution margins and transaction processing
- Optimize gross margin performance in BaaS model
- Evaluate vendor spend and cost-to-serve metrics
- Provide financial guidance on strategic initiatives
- Advise on pricing and partner onboarding
- Ensure accuracy of cost allocations
- Design audit-ready financial processes
- Comply with regulatory requirements (BaFin/SRB)
