Anforderungen
- 5+ years embedded firmware experience
- Strong C++ experience for microcontrollers
- Practical RTOS experience (Zephyr advantageous)
- Hands-on RFID/NFC experience
- ISO 14443, Mifare DESFire EVx preferred
- Experience with smartphone credential flows
- Familiarity with applied cryptography
- Secure elements/SAM integration
- Secure boot and OTA
- Debugging skills (JTAG/SWD, logic analyser)
- Embedded CI/CD experience
- Good German skills
- Strong English skills
- Deep Mifare DESFire EVx personalization experience
- Low-power design knowledge
- Mobile platform SDKs/APIs knowledge
- Knowledge of access control standards
- Security compliance knowledge (CRA, NIST, ETSI)
- Familiarity with Git, Jira, and embedded test frameworks
- Interest in creating a diverse, inclusive, and authentic workplace

Aufgaben
- Design and implement C++ application firmware on microcontrollers
- Develop application-level features
- Integrate physical and smartphone-based credential processing
- Implement RTOS features (tasking, IPC, power-aware scheduling)
- Develop application logic for Mifare DESFire and future standards
- Manage app/file models, access conditions, personalization, and lifecycle
- Integrate NFC, BLE, and WLAN stacks
- Integrate mobile credential workflows (provisioning, HCE, revocation)
- Interface with secure elements/SAMs for key storage
- Interface with secure elements/SAMs for transaction offload
- Implement secure boot
- Implement signed/encrypted OTA updates
- Implement application-level runtime protections
- Enhance internal software suites (C++, C#)
- Maintain internal software suites (C++, C#)
- Build tests and CI/CD artifacts
- Use protocol sniffers for validation
- Use hardware debuggers for validation
- Collaborate with mobile, backend, hardware, and QA teams
- Produce technical documentation
- Produce security documentation
