In this role, you will lead two engineering teams focused on core remote driving software, ensuring high-quality delivery while shaping the technical direction and culture of the organization. Your day-to-day responsibilities will involve guiding architectural decisions and collaborating with various teams to drive alignment and execution.

Anforderungen

• •Ownership of complex, real-time systems end to end
• •Leadership of high-performing engineering teams of 5 to 10 engineers
• •Passion for improving engineering productivity
• •Strong proficiency in C++ and Linux
• •Experience with embedded or real-time systems
• •Clear and effective communication skills
• •High sense of urgency and ownership
• •Experience with Robot Operating System (ROS)
• •Experience with hardware or compute platform evaluation and selection

• •Lead and scale the Platform and Media engineering teams
• •Own the delivery of core real-time platform and media systems
• •Define and drive modern software engineering practices
• •Ensure high quality, reliability, and predictable delivery
• •Partner with technical leads to shape roadmaps and priorities
• •Guide architectural decisions for performance and safety-critical systems
• •Build, coach, and develop engineers through clear expectations and feedback
• •Collaborate with Talent on hiring for your teams
• •Contribute hands-on up to 25% of the time
• •Collaborate with product, program, and cross-functional teams
