- Degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, or comparable qualification
- More than 6 years of professional experience as Data Engineer or BI Engineer
- Strong focus on developing and scaling cloud-based data platforms
- Deep expertise in Python and SQL for complex data processing and modeling
- Extensive experience in designing, building, and operating modern data lakehouse architectures
- Proficiency in infrastructure as code (especially Terraform)
- Responsibility for building and evolving stable data infrastructures
- Ownership of architectural decisions
- Active drive in further development of data platforms and engineering standards
- Excellent analytical skills
- Independent management of technical projects
- Close collaboration with stakeholders
- Confident communication in German and English
- Ability to explain complex technical concepts clearly
- Independent work
- Ownership of end-to-end solutions
- Active contribution to knowledge sharing within the team
Aufgaben
- Develop data products for Sales, Marketing, and Customer Service
- Ensure data quality and promote data literacy
- Optimize data for performance, quality, and cost
- Develop products to address business-critical challenges
- Design and implement data models in Azure
- Advise colleagues on Azure-based Data & Analytics framework
- Lead projects or sub-projects as Sales Data Hub representative
