- Academic background in cosmetic science, chemistry, pharmacy, nutritional science, or related discipline
- Solid working knowledge of EU cosmetics regulation (EC No 1223/2009)
- Familiarity with US FDA cosmetics requirements
- Experience in regulatory, compliance, or quality role
- Experience ideally within cosmetics, personal care, or pharmaceutical sector
- Structured, detail-oriented, and reliable
- Ownership of work and early risk flagging
- Comfortable working cross-functionally
- Collaboration without losing regulatory rigor
- Analytical mindset
- Ability to assess market trends and translate to regulatory implications
- Clear communicator in English, written and spoken
- Clear communicator in German, written and spoken
- Comfortable representing brand externally
- Proficient in Google Workspace
- Experience with regulatory databases or cosmetics compliance tools is a plus
Aufgaben
- Ensure regulatory compliance for new brand launches
- Manage compliance and labeling for new products
- Own regulatory projects from change control to implementation
- Serve as primary regulatory contact with external partners
- Manage communication on marketability and compliance
- Lead portfolio reviews with Product Development, Editorial, and Quality
- Monitor EU and US regulatory developments
- Brief internal stakeholders on regulatory changes
- Assess new ingredients and formulations for regulatory compliance
- Flag regulatory opportunities and constraints early
