- Solid understanding of distributed systems and event-driven architectures
- Ability to design scalable and reliable backend solutions
- Strong ability to ensure high-quality, maintainable code
- Experience with testing, code reviews, and performance optimization
- Hands-on experience with MySQL (schema design and query optimization)
- Hands-on experience with Redis (caching and session management)
- Hands-on experience with Docker
- Proficiency in PHP
- Additional experience with SQL is a plus
- Familiarity with common backend tools and technologies is a plus
Aufgaben
- Develop and maintain backend systems for procurement
- Collaborate with engineers to deliver high-performance shopping experiences
- Ensure reliability, scalability, and performance of backend services
- Make technical architecture decisions for checkout and payments
- Maintain high code and system quality through testing, code reviews, and monitoring
- Collaborate with stakeholders to meet business requirements efficiently
- Prioritize and drive technical initiatives, making transparent trade-offs
- Ensure system stability in production, analyze and prevent incidents
- Improve processes, tools, and team working methods
- Contribute to the evolution of the engineering culture
