In this role, you will be at the forefront of developing and integrating Avionics Li-Ion Batteries for the Spectrum project. Daily activities will involve managing product interfaces, conducting tests, and supporting vehicle integration, all within a dynamic R&D environment.

Anforderungen

• •BSc/MSc in Electrical Engineering, Energy Science and Technology or comparable
• •5+ years of working experience with complex PCBs and Electronic Units and Li ion batteries
• •Excellent knowledge of circuit theory, electronics, signal processing and power electronics
• •Extensive experience in E-CAD tools (Schematic & Layout Design), preferably Altium Designer
• •Extensive knowledge of semiconductors and solid-state power controllers
• •Excellent knowledge of Li-Ion battery system technology and state-of-the-art cell chemistries
• •Excellent experience in Li-Ion battery pack design and relevant battery testing
• •Hands on mentality and can-do attitude
• •Fluent in spoken and written English
• •Previous product ownership
• •Experience with launch vehicle flight termination systems and flight safety is a plus
• •Experience with SMC or RCC standard is a plus

Aufgaben

• •Develop and integrate Avionics Li-Ion Batteries
• •Test and verify battery performance
• •Manage all product interfaces throughout the lifecycle
• •Conduct design, qualification, and acceptance testing
• •Support vehicle integration and testing in Germany and on the launch pad
• •Maintain and verify Power System requirements
• •Build and maintain automated testing infrastructure for Power System and FTS components
• •Oversee the battery test rig
