In this role, you will manage financial statements and bookkeeping for German companies while supporting audits and preparing various reports. You will also coach your team, build strong relationships, and ensure deadlines are met, all while fostering a collaborative environment.

Anforderungen

• •Strong knowledge of German GAAP, IFRS, Consolidation, and/or US GAAP
• •Minimum of 5 years of experience with a professional services firm
• •Excellent communication and organisational skills
• •Strong relationship management skills
• •Proactive client service orientation
• •Ability to develop and grow commercial business activity
• •University degree in Accounting/Finance, ACCA-qualified or part qualified

Aufgaben

• •Administer bookkeeping and prepare financial statements for various German companies
• •Assist in preparing monthly, quarterly, and year-end closings
• •Prepare interim accounts as needed for clients
• •Liaise with clients, other offices, and client advisors to prepare financial statements
• •Support audits of financial statements when required
• •Assist in preparing VAT and CIT returns as needed
• •Help prepare financial reports in Local GAAP, US GAAP, or IFRS when required
• •Record working hours for clients in the time billing system according to set objectives
• •Coach and develop team members, serving as a role model
• •Share knowledge and experience with colleagues
• •Review the work of other team members
• •Guide and train new joiners in the team
• •Build and maintain effective relationships with colleagues, clients, and third parties
• •Support colleagues and foster a team-oriented environment
• •Proactively follow up on daily matters
• •Anticipate potential queries and address them promptly
• •Ensure client deadlines are met
• •Adhere to internal procedures at all times
