Anforderungen
- Business apprenticeship with accounting focus, ideally tax clerk, plus financial accountant training
- Several years of experience in accounting
- Several years of practical financial accounting experience
- Independent journal entries and individual financial statement preparation
- Initial exposure to consolidated financial statements
- Solid understanding of German Commercial Code (HGB)
- Familiarity with sales tax law
- Knowledge of IFRS is a welcome plus
- Proficiency in DATEV and MS Office
- Experience with CPM/FP&A tool (Lucanet, Tagetik, Anaplan) is a plus
- Independent and structured work approach
- High standards for quality
- Enjoyment of actively shaping a modern finance department
- Fluent German (written and spoken)
- Fluent English (written and spoken)
Aufgaben
- Manage financial and general ledger accounting for the Group
- Prepare monthly and annual financial statements per HGB
- Compile financial statements independently, including consolidation entries
- Process payroll for multiple countries
- Handle provisions, accruals, and fixed asset accounting
- Manage day-to-day payment transactions
- Prepare monthly advance sales tax returns
- Compile quarterly summary reports
- Serve as primary contact for auditors and tax advisors
- Oversee tax audits and prepare tax returns
- Collaborate with the Controlling team on monthly investor reporting
- Contribute to process and system optimizations
- Maintain and develop the Accounting Manual
- Act as technical point of contact for the Junior Accountant
