Anforderungen
- PhD in bioorganic chemistry, molecular biotechnology, biochemical engineering, or related area
- Essential experience with redox hydrogel design and characterization, and its interface with living systems
- Essential experience with microscopy and spectroscopy techniques
- Bonus experience with pure microbial culture and/or chemical modification using click chemistry
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- High self-motivation and initiative, capability to lead interdisciplinary projects
- Proficiency in English speaking and writing, with good publication records
Aufgaben
- Develop redox hydrogel-cyanobacteria photobioanode
- Apply microscopy-based analytics to characterize bio-hydrogel interface electron transfer kinetics
- Engineer bio-hydrogel interface using click chemistry to enhance electron transfer kinetics
- Create a prototype system combining photobioanode and enzymatic cathode for photobioammonium production
- Collaborate closely with project partners to drive project progress
- Publish research in high-reputation journals and present at leading scientific conferences
