- PhD in electrical engineering, mechatronics, or related field
- MSc with relevant experience (exceptional candidates)
- Strong theoretical foundations in electric motors/electromagnetic actuators
- Proven research experience in electric motors/electromagnetic actuators
- Solid foundational knowledge of power electronics
- Solid foundational knowledge of motor/actuator control
- Solid foundational knowledge of mechanical system dynamics
- Deep analytical understanding of electromagnetic energy conversion
- Advanced numerical modeling skills in FEM tools
- Experience with multi-domain simulations (control, power electronics, mechanics) (strong plus)
- Experienced in practical mechanical design of motors or actuators
- Knowledgeable of modern manufacturing methods
- Track record of scientific publications
- Well acquainted with laboratory work
- Skills in power electronics (strong plus)
- Skills in data acquisition (strong plus)
- Skills in embedded control (strong plus)
- Skills in LabView environment (strong plus)
