In this role, you will engage in critical safety and reliability tasks for spacecraft, conducting assessments and analyses while collaborating with suppliers and engineers to ensure compliance and enhance operational safety.

Anforderungen

• •Knowledge and skills in Aerospace Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Communications engineering or equivalent
• •Knowledge and experience in areas of responsibility
• •Knowledge and experience in un-manned Space Systems, particularly payload system
• •Knowledge and experience in Safety and Reliability Engineering in Aeronautical or Space sector
• •Knowledge and experience of hazard analysis and fault tree analysis
• •Knowledge of Safety processes, regulations and guidelines (ECSS-Q-ST-40C, ARP 4761, ARP 4754A)
• •Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• •Excellent communication and strong sense of responsibility
• •High level of commitment, flexibility and strong service mentality
• •Very good written and spoken English and German
• •Willingness to travel domestically and internationally
• •Awareness of compliance risks and commitment to integrity

Aufgaben

• •Perform project RAMS tasks at spacecraft system, subsystem, or equipment level
• •Conduct safety assessments at various product maturity stages
• •Evaluate safety for operations, removal, and repair activities
• •Establish reliability, availability, and maintainability analyses
• •Prepare FMECA, HSIA, and fault tree analyses
• •Define RAMS requirements in collaboration with equipment suppliers
• •Ensure compliance with defined requirements during design development
• •Prepare hazard analyses for spacecraft, equipment, and ground support equipment
• •Collaborate with FDIR architects on failure detection, isolation, and recovery
• •Document and present work results
