Anforderungen
- Diploma or master’s degree in Meteorology, Oceanography, Physics, (Techno)Mathematics, or Engineering
- Experience in numerical modeling of atmospheric processes
- Familiarity with meteorological topics
- Programming skills in Python or Julia
- Data analysis expertise
- Basic project management experience
- Knowledge of machine learning, artificial intelligence, or wind energy
- Diversity of skills

Aufgaben
- Develop numerical models for atmospheric flow processes
- Evaluate wind turbine and wind farm site yields
- Transfer models from fundamental research to industrial applications
- Validate models using operational wind farm data and measurements
- Advise companies, policymakers, and public authorities
- Link models with macroeconomic and business economics analyses
- Contribute to research project idea development
- Manage smaller research projects
- Author scientific publications
- Present findings at international conferences
- Collaborate with team members across projects and backgrounds
- Foster a culture of open exchange and cooperation
