- Lead and deliver high-quality, innovative category management
- Ensure availability of goods and services in Castings & Forgings
- Communicate and align regional targets with global category targets
- Distribute global and regional targets to local category teams
- Implement and drive regional KPIs with support from GCM and LCM
- Support plants, LACs, and markets to achieve their targets
- Develop and execute regional sourcing strategies for EURAF
- Conduct constant market observation on prices, suppliers, and innovations
- Align strategies with global category manager for global spend categories
- Manage regional contract and supplier relationships
- Develop and innovate with suppliers
- Ensure local requirements are covered in contract annexes
- Consolidate category management requirements from EURAF
- Ensure alignment between global and regional strategies
- Build relationships with key stakeholders, category teams, and external partners
- Lead regional strategic sourcing projects
- Secure goods, works, and services that meet customer needs
- Ensure value for money and compliance with procurement policies
- Generate cashable and non-cashable efficiencies throughout contracts
- Execute professional regional tenders (RFx)
- Negotiate contracts according to defined sourcing strategies
- Provide regional market analysis, trends, and supplier data to Global CM
- Ensure use of global standards, processes, and templates in the region
- Maintain harmonization and transparency on parts and tooling
