- Experience in high risk industry or upper tier SEVESO/COMAH site
- NEBOSH National Diploma in Occupational Health & Safety or Environmental Management or equivalent (IEMA)
- SEVESO III / 12th BImSchV specialist training
- Hazardous substances & TRGS/ATEX training
- HAZOP, LOPA, process safety competence
- Quality Management (QMF/QMA/QMB-TüV)
- Strong knowledge of management systems, standards (ISO 9001, ISO 45001, ISO 140001)
- Strong knowledge of methodologies (FMEA, Risk Assessments, 8D)
- Familiarity with DIN standards
- Familiarity with chemical industry regulations
- Familiarity with compliance frameworks
- Familiarity with German authorities
- Excellent communication skills (written and spoken)
- Excellent presentation skills
- Excellent stakeholder management skills
- German language proficiency
- English language proficiency
- Skilled in root cause analysis
- Skilled in risk assessment
- Skilled in CAPA implementation
- Comfortable with management systems

- Oversee Quality, Safety & Environment Management Systems
- Manage internal and external audits
- Control document processes
- Lead Quality Control team
- Ensure alignment with global standards
- Monitor industry regulations (e.g., REACH, ISO, GMP)
- Support external audits and inspections
- Manage environmental permitting and compliance reporting
- Handle external complaints and waste management
- Oversee H&S processes
- Ensure SEVESO and legal compliance
- Manage risk assessment and accident investigation
- Develop emergency plans
- Lead QHSE issue investigations
- Implement corrective and preventive actions
- Collaborate with Manufacturing, R&D, Supply Chain, and Commercial teams
- Embed QHSE throughout product lifecycle
- Track and report QHSE KPIs and trends
- Initiate improvement initiatives
- Address customer complaints
- Ensure timely resolution of issues
- Maintain strong customer relationships
- Champion Lean, 5S, Six Sigma
- Promote KPI tracking and training
- Reduce complaints and recordable incidents
