Project Coordinator / Data Steward in Clinical Research(m/w/x)
Developing data schemas and electronic forms for medical research data exchange at a university hospital. PhD or MSc in natural/biomedical sciences with published peer-reviewed work required. Flexible working hours, home office option.
Anforderungen
- PhD or MSc in natural sciences, biomedical sciences, healthcare, or bioinformatics/computer science
- Published peer-reviewed work in national/international journals
- Significant experience in classic project management (ideally research context)
- Knowledge of relational databases, data modeling, data standards
- Research leveraging medical data in clinical/research context (advantageous)
- Knowledge of sensitive data management or willingness to learn
- Very good organizational skills, analytical thinking, strong problem-solving skills
- Independent work ability, excellent communication, teamwork skills, structured/reliable working style
- Proficiency in German and English (written/spoken)

- Develop data schemas for standardized medical research data exchange
- Conceptualize and implement electronic data collection forms
- Advance processes for data collection and curation
- Provide support for data consolidation and harmonization
- Conceptualize testing scenarios for data quality
- Train and support researchers in FAIR data management
- Conduct research on data standards and quality
- Extract and prepare clinical data for research projects
- Write metadata reports
- Develop data management plans
- Manage collaborations with internal and external stakeholders
- Manage MeDIC's administrative and organizational processes
- Initiate and strategically manage innovative digital IT projects
- Advance processes for clinical data provision
- Establish data protection guidelines for secondary patient data use
- Further develop data standards
- Refine project requirements and objectives with clinical partners
- Adapt project timelines with clinical partners
- Collaborate and communicate with researchers, clinicians, and IT teams
- Plan and coordinate project work
- Coordinate public relations
- Report on project milestones with project partners
- Present scientific project results at conferences and meetings
- Supervise students and research assistants
