Anforderungen
- PhD in Forestry, Ecology, Monitoring & Evaluation, Natural Resource Management, Forest Management, or related field
- Strategic analysis, planning, and organizational decision-making ability
- Minimum 5 years people leadership experience
- At least 5 years experience in Monitoring & Evaluation, Quality Management, Standard Development, Forest Management, Conservation Management, or related areas
- Proven scientific research experience
- Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency in scientific and data-driven methodologies
- Demonstrated project management experience
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Proactive, service-oriented, and solution-focused approach
- Proficiency in MS Office and data analysis/visualization tools
- Fluency in English (written and spoken)
Aufgaben
- Design and implement FSC’s Monitoring & Evaluation (M&E) framework
- Lead outcome-oriented approaches within FSC’s normative framework
- Oversee impact evaluations and performance monitoring
- Develop cost-effective data collection tools and guidance
- Lead and manage the Monitoring & Evaluation Programme
- Supervise and develop team members
- Foster a high-performing, engaged, and collaborative team culture
- Establish outcome-oriented work plans, budgets, and programme priorities
- Ensure effective project management and timely M&E project delivery
- Ensure high-quality M&E project delivery within budget
- Develop and maintain collaborative workstreams with FSC Network Partners
- Develop and maintain collaborative workstreams with local stakeholders
- Ensure compliance with relevant ISEAL Codes of Practice
- Ensure compliance with M&E requirements
- Promote the use of scientific evidence in analytics
- Provide technical input to support FSC standard development
- Drive innovation in impact measurement and performance reporting
- Build strategic partnerships with external institutions
- Represent FSC in relevant forums
- Support cross-functional M&E activities
- Contribute to fundraising and donor reporting
