- Comfortable using essential computational tools, including simple scripting in Python, basic command-line/terminal operations, version control with Git, and preparing scholarly documents in LaTeX
- Internationally experienced and fluent in English for teaching and research purposes
- Significant publications
- Research experience, ideally including the acquisition of funding
- Providing new innovative directions for research and teaching
- Experience in curriculum development and accreditation processes
