- Experience running user interviews that influenced product development
- Ability to articulate what not to do in the role
- Comfort with engineers owning product decisions
- Strong opinions on users, adoption, and positioning
- Ability to disagree with data and commit to team decisions
- Genuine obsession with users and the product
- Focus on making engineers better at product decisions
Aufgaben
- Ensure product usage is tracked post-shipping
- Provide answers on product usage within a week
- Build data packages for product decisions
- Challenge engineers with data-backed insights
- Run the product meeting
- Write the product meeting agenda
- Open product meetings with a roadmap pulse
- Build a new product feedback loop
- Conduct weekly user outreach
- Perform bi-weekly seller check-ins
- Create written briefs for engineers
- Ensure product signals reach all engineers
- Navigate the product codebase
- Follow architecture discussions
- Identify customer bugs in Sentry
- Shape the Product Manager role from scratch
- Adapt the PostHog PM model
- Establish research practices
- Create feedback channels for engineers
- Enable sellers to demo independently
- Create demo scripts for major features
- Develop talking points for major features
- Define competitive differentiation for major features
