- Contribute device manufacturing experience to product development projects
- Evaluate prototype parts, assemblies, and production processes for manufacturability and cost
- Conduct independent type and component testing
- Perform technical approvals
- Plan prototype construction for series production preparation
- Manage pre-series logistics
- Work closely with cross-functional teams
- Plan and oversee series production of measuring instruments
- Create necessary documentation for series production
- Develop test plans for series production
- Train colleagues on production processes
- Analyze root causes of defects
- Develop measures to maintain product quality
- Implement series modifications
- Ensure compliance with standards
- Optimize production for quality and cost efficiency
- Conduct cost analyses and optimizations with development and production
- Qualify new suppliers for purchase components
- Provide technical support and advice to production
