- PhD in immunology, biomedical science, bioinformatics, computational biology or related field
- Strong track record of publications
- Proven experience with single-cell data
- Proven experience with immune cell analysis
- Experience with scRNA-seq
- Experience with spatial or epigenomics (strong plus)
- Basic knowledge of the immune system
- Programming skills in R and/or Python
- Interest in or willingness to engage in wet-lab work
- Experience with sample preparation
- Experience with mouse handling
- Prior experience with mouse handling (desirable)
- FELASA-certification (desirable)
- Excellent scientific writing skills
- Excellent oral communication skills
Aufgaben
- Conduct single-cell and spatial immunoprofiling
- Analyze bioinformatic data of -omics datasets
- Collaborate with scientists and clinicians
- Test established mouse models of cardio-oncology
- Collect clinical specimens
- Identify immune cell alterations in tumors post cardiovascular injury
- Examine tumor-induced changes on cardiovascular disease
- Elucidate interplay between failing heart and growing tumor
- Establish experimental and computational frameworks
- Develop single-cell and spatial omics pipelines
- Generate multi-omic datasets
- Analyze and integrate multi-omic data
- Work independently in an interdisciplinary environment
- Train and supervise undergraduate and medical students
