Anforderungen
- PhD or minimum 3 years experience in bioinformatics, computational biology, or data sciences
- Knowledge of biology
- Statistical and bioinformatic skills
- Analysis of human, in vitro, and in vivo omics datasets
- Experience in experimental validation of genetic and molecular findings
- Experience applying statistical methods from genetic epidemiology
- Expertise in Linux/Unix environment and HPC clusters
- Proficiency in R and Python
- Knowledge of reproducible workflow systems and version control tools
- Strong communication skills and interdisciplinary teamwork
- Fluency in English
- Knowledge of German as an advantage
Aufgaben
- Apply molecular epidemiology methods to WGS and scRNA Seq data
- Perform in silico annotations of genomics findings
- Execute statistical data analysis and data integration
- Create data visualizations for research results
- Contribute to research publications and grant applications
- Provide technical support to interdisciplinary team members
- Collaborate closely on the PMI Project Sex Diversity in CID
