- Assist Trade Manager and Senior Director with ocean services
- Support carrier relations for ocean services
- Drive new business by providing optimal procurement results
- Support internal teams with strategic pricing and procurement solutions
- Negotiate and manage trades with the Trade Manager
- Conduct quarterly business review meetings with carriers
- Manage allocations and lead cost reduction initiatives
- Support national and global RFQs and collaborate with Tender Management
- Provide selling rate guidance and benchmarks
- Review opportunity pipelines and bundle accounts
- Negotiate NACs and increase FAK volumes with countries
- Ensure rate transparency and optimize costs
- Monitor carrier service levels and trade KPIs
- Manage equipment flows effectively
- Negotiate vendor terms including space and free time
- Identify match back opportunities
- Manage special projects and support commercial channels
- Provide continuous guidance to customer service teams
- Drive corporate compliance initiatives and ensure adherence to policies
