- Skill in making complex decisions using available data and gut feeling
- Strong communication and collaboration skills to explain statistical concepts to non-experts and maintain relationships
- Proficiency in speaking and writing English
- Awareness of coding skills in Python, R, and/or SAS, ability to connect to cloud databases and write queries, foundations of machine learning/AI, JMP software, GitHub, SQL and/or Databricks
- Short work experience, internships, and studies abroad considered a plus

- Explore and develop alternative sampling techniques
- Evaluate qualification protocols and compare with state-of-the-art methods
- Analyze historical data from qualification events
- Account for factors influencing total probabilities
- Perform simulations to estimate defect rates
- Initiate a database for historical trend analyses
- Evaluate applications of machine learning approaches
- Integrate learning experiences to advocate for improvements
