Anforderungen
- Degree in electronics/electrical engineering, aerospace engineering, or equivalent
- Strong technical background in electronic equipment development
- Knowledge and practical expertise with airborne equipment
- Qualification and certification
- Hardware development/design and verification (e.g. DO-254, ARP4754A, AMC 20-152A, DO-160, MIL-STD-810)
- Software development (DO-178) is a plus
- Ability to technically assess supplier solutions
- Support problem-solving activities during development
- Experience in technical supplier management is a plus
- Experience in requirements engineering is a plus
- Experience in requirements management tools (DOORs) is a plus
- Comfortable taking ownership
- Comfortable making technical decisions
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to interact with suppliers, customers and authorities
- Teamplayer
- Comfortable in international and multidisciplinary engineering environment
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively
- Ability to coordinate and influence people
- Willingness to travel internationally
Aufgaben
- Own technical responsibility for airborne mission systems equipment
- Transform operational and system-level needs into robust equipment solutions
- Prepare and validate equipment technical specifications and contractual documents
- Manage equipment requirements from system architecture to equipment-level allocation
- Technical management of international suppliers for airborne equipment
- Evaluate supplier designs and qualifications, manage milestones and deliverables
- Review and challenge technical solutions, support issue resolution
- Ensure compliance with aeronautical and certification standards (e.g., DO-254)
- Coordinate multidisciplinary engineering activities with internal specialists
- Interface with customers, partners, and certification authorities on technical matters
- Monitor and support equipment integration, subsystem verification, and flight tests
- Support equipment queries, in-service occurrence reports, and defect investigations
