- Good written and spoken English skills
- Hands-on experience with mechatronic systems, test bench automation, or data acquisition/analysis
- Experience with Unix (e.g. Bash) and field bus systems (e.g. EtherCAT) and embedded controllers
- Familiarity with relevant regulations and standards for mechatronic systems and industrial automation
- Other language skills advantageous, e.g. German and Chinese

- Design software solutions for test benches
- Develop software for complex mechatronic systems
- Implement software solutions for test benches
- Coordinate test bench design and construction
- Commission test benches for mechatronic components
- Commission test benches for industrial-grade manipulators
- Evaluate test results
- Provide feedback to development team
- Implement data acquisition
- Conduct data analysis at component level
- Conduct data analysis at system level
- Develop test procedures
- Document test procedures
- Follow regulatory frameworks for testing
- Review component requirements
- Propose system requirements
- Verify component and system requirements
