- Several years of professional experience in the design of plastic housings, ideally in the field of power tools
- Experience with plastic-compatible design and tool design
- Very good knowledge of CAD systems and technical documentation
- Very good German and English skills
- Structured and proactive working style
Aufgaben
- Design innovative mechanical components and plastic housings for hand-held power tools
- Create CAD models and technical drawings with Creo
- Collaborate with product management, manufacturing, assembly, and quality assurance teams
- Select materials and manufacturing processes for plastic parts, including injection molding and 3D printing
- Support external service providers and suppliers in toolmaking and series production
- Perform tolerance analyses, FEM calculations, and design reviews
- Conduct virtual assembly (DFA) to optimize assembly and service processes
- Execute D-FMEA
- Manage the buildup and validation of prototypes
