Anforderungen

  • Understanding of end-to-end MDS operational process
  • Self-starter with sourcing experience
  • Strong commercial acumen
  • Ability to build and manage trusted stakeholder relationships
  • Deliver on critical sourcing objectives across MDS categories
  • Develop relationships with key business stakeholders
  • University degree (Bachelor or Master)
  • 5+ years experience of end-to-end MDS process
  • 5+ years experience working with MDS vendors and services
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent networking and relationship-building skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a matrix environment
  • Strong negotiating skills
  • Ability to manage multiple conflicting priorities and deliver results
  • Experience in working with MDS related sourcing tools, practices, and systems
  • Understanding of UK contract law (desirable)
  • Professional team player, motivated and highly flexible
  • MDS Sourcing/Vendor management specialist role
  • MDS Business Analysis role
  • MDS Administration Managers role

Aufgaben

  • Establish and maintain strong client relationships
  • Understand client business practices and requirements
  • Shape deals to meet client needs
  • Conduct information and commercial tenders
  • Manage tender evaluations with client stakeholders
  • Negotiate deals for optimal commercial terms
  • Lead MDS initiatives of varying scope and scale
  • Build and present potential solutions
  • Review and negotiate vendor contract terms
  • Advise on best practices for contract management
  • Provide input on client cost efficiency exercises
  • Offer advice on contract usage rights
  • Work on savings targets and displacement opportunities
  • Handle RFPs as needed
  • Maintain MDS industry awareness
  • Adhere to Chain IQ corporate standards
  • Use defined sourcing tools and processes
