Anforderungen
- In-depth knowledge of computerized integrated information systems (manufacturing, materials management, production planning, procurement, distribution) and superior understanding of manufacturing material flow
- Strong customer service orientation and dedicated support of internal customer requirements
- Proactive change agent with leadership skills to build and maintain team-oriented environment leveraging lean methodologies
- Solid interpersonal skills with ability to motivate staff and interact with various departments

- Bachelor’s degree in business administration or engineering (MBA preferred) or similar degree
- APICS certification in production and inventory management (CPIM) or comparable training with supply chain focus
- At least 5 years of experience in integrated materials management functions within manufacturing environment implementing lean concepts, MRP, and advanced supplier relationships
- At least 3 years of leadership experience focusing on standardizing planning and execution, reducing procurement complexity, and developing talent
- Extensive experience in materials planning and procurement within mechanical engineering company (low volumes - high mix)
- Experience in operations, inventory management, MRP, and lean manufacturing processes
- Experience with visual management systems
- Fluent German (native speakers preferred), English at least B2 level
Aufgaben
- Plan and control direct materials
- Develop and execute materials strategy
- Lead materials project initiatives
- Optimize material flow for lean and continuous improvement
- Manage indirect labor productivity in materials department
- Monitor key performance indicators: inventory turns, on-time shipping, order fill rate, days past due
- Optimize materials management activities: scheduling, production purchasing, inventory control, materials movement, supplier performance
- Implement and support Materials and SIOP standard work processes
- Facilitate collaboration with Sourcing, Engineering, Product Management, Sales, Accounting, Quality Assurance
- Develop and implement countermeasures for underperforming processes and suppliers
- Lead personnel selection, development, and evaluation
- Drive digitization of planning and demand reporting
- Manage supplier deliveries and inventory in lean manufacturing
- Plan, evaluate, organize, integrate, and delegate tasks
- Assign jobs based on staff requirements
- Support Global Procurement Commodity Leaders in supplier selection
- Develop and implement professional development programs for materials personnel
- Align production plan with SIOP consensus plan
- Enhance supplier relationships
- Perform additional duties as required
