Quality assurance for safety and justice tech devices, managing incoming materials, in-process controls, and final products. 5+ years manufacturing quality engineering experience required. Fitness programs available.
Anforderungen
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, Quality Engineering, related technical field, or equivalent experience
- 5+ years manufacturing or production quality engineering experience
- Experience with structured quality tools (RCA, CAPA, 8D)
- Familiarity with manufacturing quality processes (inspection planning, FAIR/PPAP, statistical process analysis)
- Ability to interpret engineering drawings, technical specifications, quality standards
- Cross-functional environment experience (manufacturing, engineering, supply chain)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Legal eligibility to work in a firearms environment (for some roles)
Aufgaben
- Ensure quality of incoming materials, in-process controls, and final products.
- Conduct root cause investigations using 8D and RCA.
- Implement corrective actions using 8D and RCA.
- Manage non-conforming materials.
- Support MRB disposition processes with cross-functional teams.
- Develop and maintain inspection plans.
- Develop and maintain AQL sampling strategies.
- Develop and maintain quality documentation.
- Support NPI activities by developing validation plans.
- Develop PFMEA for NPI activities.
- Implement process controls for NPI activities.
- Analyze quality and manufacturing data for trends.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives.
- Improve process stability with manufacturing engineering.
- Improve yield with manufacturing engineering.
- Reduce defects with manufacturing engineering.
- Participate in internal and supplier quality audits.
- Ensure compliance with relevant industry standards.
- Support supplier quality activities.
- Collaborate with supply chain to improve supplier performance.
- Contribute to Lean Manufacturing and operational excellence programs.
