- Manage evolving technical scopes and high levels of ambiguity
- Establish structured and successful project paths
- Harmonize and elevate project management methodologies
- Establish a robust system of KPIs, risk registers, and project health reviews
- Ensure predictability and excellence in project delivery
- Implement adaptive governance models for shifting scopes
- Act as the final line of defense for technical quality
- Review technical specifications, requirement analyses, and architecture designs
- Ensure sound engineering for global semiconductor customers
- Transition the team from individual contributors to a cohesive unit
- Design and launch a formal mentorship program
- Identify skill gaps and arrange targeted training
- Develop the next generation of technical leaders
- Break down silos by aligning group work with other departments
- Act as a strategic partner to key customers
- Balance customer demands with organizational capabilities
- Exercise full functional leadership of the group
- Utilize budget and signing authority for resource allocation
- Allocate resources effectively across global projects
- Report directly to the Director of Global System Development
- Collaborate globally with peers in the US and Switzerland
- Harmonize development standards and share best practices
- Steer the team through a complex, fast-moving ecosystem
- Ensure Project Leaders bridge the gap between stakeholders
- Partner with Product Management and Sales to translate customer needs
- Steer the team through intense customer interfaces with evolving requirements
- Ensure project momentum remains steady despite technical uncertainty
- Work alongside Engineering to turn concepts into functional architectures
- Navigate the transition to Operations for rapid prototyping
- Ensure seamless transfer to high-volume production
