- Solid knowledge of EU environmental regulations
- Solid knowledge of ISO 14001 or environmental management systems
- Solid knowledge of carbon footprinting & energy management
- Experience with audits, inspections and authority communication
- Fluent English
- Additional certification in EHS / Environmental Management
- Experience in multi-site or regional environments
- Knowledge of German, Polish or Czech
- Experience with ESG or sustainability reporting frameworks
- Project management experience in operational rollouts
Aufgaben
- Develop and implement the environmental and sustainability strategy
- Translate corporate targets into practical site-level actions
- Drive implementation of the environmental management system (ISO 14001)
- Define environmental standards, procedures, and KPIs
- Ensure compliance with EU and local environmental regulations
- Conduct environmental audits and risk assessments
- Lead corrective actions for non-compliance
- Act as the central expert on environmental compliance topics
- Lead energy efficiency, waste management, and emission reduction programs
- Implement carbon reduction initiatives in logistics operations
- Drive continuous improvement in environmental performance
- Track environmental KPIs and performance indicators
- Support ESG and sustainability reporting activities
- Maintain legal registers and environmental documentation
