Anforderungen
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university
- Experience in logistics and warehouse activities
- Team player with project facilitation skills
- Experience leading teams and projects in logistics
- Knowledge of import/export regulations and GDP
- Excellent systems skills
- Understanding of downstream processes in Pharma
- Understanding of KPI's and SLA management
- Strong relationship management skills
- Understanding of process improvement and change management
- Strong data analysis skills
- Capacity to work transversally in a dynamic environment
Aufgaben
- Lead logistics operations at a global and regional level
- Manage third-party logistics activities
- Oversee transportation to and from the distribution center
- Handle customs management for import and export processes
- Supervise internal warehouse activities
- Ensure safety, efficiency, and effectiveness in logistics operations
- Coach and support the logistics team
- Develop individual development programs for team members
- Promote team engagement to foster a winning culture
- Drive diversity and inclusion initiatives
- Define action plans to optimize distribution costs
- Control expenditures and track performance against the budget
- Manage daily operations and interface issues
- Ensure business continuity through effective planning
- Oversee inbound process management
- Resolve issues related to damaged products and returns
- Collaborate with Quality to ensure compliance with Good Distribution Practices
- Participate in internal and external audits
- Support stock counts according to global processes
- Evaluate supplier performance and build strategic relationships
- Identify cost savings and maximize supplier value
- Develop service level agreements and define business objectives
- Establish KPIs and reporting mechanisms for performance measurement
- Monitor and manage KPIs related to performance and costs
- Approve third-party logistics invoices and identify improvement areas
- Align best practices with the third-party logistics core model
- Contribute to process improvements and new initiatives
- Detect inefficiencies and propose improvements
- Plan and execute transportation in compliance with company processes
- Address supplier collaboration issues and establish agreements
- Ensure compliance in import/export activities and documentation
- Train backups for critical processes
- Support local distribution center activities in compliance with regulations
