- Experience in electron microscopy
- Experience in FIB technology and 3D tomography workflows ideally

- Experience in semiconductor environment ideally
- Profound knowledge in system architecture
- Development of modular solutions
- Strong understanding of automation, controls, and end-to-end process integration
- Strong analytical thinking
- Systematic working methods
- Problem-solving skills in troubleshooting complex automated process chains
- Ability to collaborate and communicate cross-functionally
- Communication with stakeholders (application, software, hardware, manufacturing, service, customers)
- Knowledge of programming languages, software development, and/or data/automation frameworks advantageous
- Willingness to work in a highly dynamic work environment
- Very good English skills
- Willingness to travel
Aufgaben
- Take technical ownership of FIB-SEM process flow development
- Translate process flows into system requirements for 3D-Tomography tool
- Define overall automation and process concept with application engineering
- Lead system and machine design across multiple disciplines
- Drive design and implementation of automated process modules
- Maintain system requirements, interface descriptions, and test strategies
- Collaborate with Lead Software Architect for hardware-software co-development
- Establish closed-loop control and monitoring strategies
- Coordinate interdisciplinary development with key stakeholders
- Ensure system performance targets are met with clear technical requirements
- Guide feasibility studies and trade-off analyses for critical subsystems
- Assess and mitigate technical risks, manage change requests
- Represent system engineering in reviews, design boards, and customer discussions
- Foster a culture of technical excellence and continuous improvement
