- Continuously review and update application design and implementation

- Embed non-functional requirements in the application
- Maintain and support the application with System Architect and Product Owner
- Support deployment processes
- Follow compliant and regulated development policies
- Conduct code reviews across the team
- Coach and develop other software engineers
- Analyze and fix production incidents
- Provide level 2 and level 3 support, automating where possible
- Maintain software code documentation throughout the lifecycle
- Deploy updates and fixes to the production environment
- Conduct systems analysis to improve operations
- Recommend changes in policies, procedures, and code
- Automate continuous delivery and integration processes
- Follow DevOps principles: culture, automation, lean, measurement, and sharing
- Develop a Community of Practice for application responsibility
