Anforderungen

  • Strong SQL skills (any dialect)
  • Strong data modeling/architecture skills
  • Strong software engineering skills (C#/F# and/or Python)
  • Proven experience building production-grade code
  • Experience with dbt or similar transformation tools
  • Snowflake administration experience
  • Experience implementing data contracts, quality frameworks, validation/reconciliation
  • Familiarity with CI/CD tooling and version-controlled workflows
  • Experience establishing data standards, governance, and design principles
  • Exposure to web services/microservices architectures
  • Experience in team lead or senior/lead role
  • Knowledge of financial instruments
  • Exposure to State Street's Alpha Data Platform or similar
  • Equally comfortable writing dbt models and configuring Snowflake roles
  • Pragmatic, structured, and outcome-focused
  • Hands-on and delivery-driven
  • Good communicator bridging technical and business conversations
  • Fluent in English
  • German language skills welcome
  • Enthusiasm for the role

Aufgaben

  • Design and evolve data architecture
  • Establish data standards and governance models
  • Create clean, well-documented data models
  • Design and implement data contracts
  • Own end-to-end data pipeline delivery
  • Build and maintain data pipelines using dbt-core and Snowflake
  • Implement data quality frameworks and automated testing
  • Integrate data flows across APIs and services
  • Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure-as-code
  • Collaborate with engineers, analysts, and business stakeholders
  • Manage Snowflake access control and cost monitoring
